Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-04-20
These terms apply when you install or use Orbly ("the app"). By installing, you agree to them. If you don't, remove the app.
The app
Orbly is a casual iOS game distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms; where they conflict, Apple's EULA governs first, these terms fill in the gaps.
Use
You agree to use Orbly only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't try to reverse-engineer the scoring algorithm to exploit leaderboards, circumvent In-App Purchases, or automate gameplay. Don't submit scores on behalf of another person or device you don't own.
In-App Purchases
Orbly offers one-time, non-consumable purchases: Remove Ads, a Premium Bundle, and a handful of cosmetic themes. Purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit, tied to your Apple ID, and shareable via Family Sharing where marked as such. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple's refund process — we have no direct ability to issue refunds.
Game Center and iCloud
Leaderboards rely on Apple's Game Center. Cross-device sync relies on iCloud. Both are Apple services with their own terms. Outages in either affect Orbly's features — we work around them where possible (e.g. queueing failed score submissions) but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
Ads
Free-tier users see occasional interstitial ads delivered by Google AdMob. See our privacy policy for what data is collected and how to opt out of personalisation. Purchasing Remove Ads or the Premium Bundle disables the ad SDK entirely.
User content
Circles you draw are stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your private Apple iCloud storage. We don't access, collect, or publish your drawings. If you share a circle externally (via the Share sheet), that becomes your content to do with as you like.
Disclaimer of warranties
Orbly is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular score is "correct" in a broader sense. The scoring algorithm is our best-effort interpretation of circle quality — it is not a certified geometric measurement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Orbly. Direct liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app and any IAPs in the last twelve months. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits; in those, the shortest legally-enforceable limit applies.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. When we do, we'll bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes (e.g. new paid features) will also be surfaced in the app's release notes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of ordinary residence. Any dispute must first be raised with us directly at support@playorbly.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
